Abstract：
The non-unique first-forbidden β decays of ²⁰⁸Tl, ²⁰⁸Pb, and ^206-208Hg are calculated in terms of the shell model with different interactions and model space. The calculated log f₀t value very sensitively depends on the effective interactions used in diagonalizing the energy matrix. The β decay modes for ²⁰⁶Hg and ²⁰⁸Hg are also compared.
