Abstract：
In the frame of the first order approach of KMT multiple scattering theory, using the eikonal distored wave impulse approximation, together with the empirical transition densities, the inelastic scattering of the pion mesons on ⁴⁰Ca is investigated, and the inelastic scattering of the kaon mesons on ⁴⁰Ca is also predicted.
