Abstract：
We study the α(p,p')ηα reaction theoretically and analyse the mechanism of N^*(1535) excitation in the projectile and target nucleus. The cross section, invariant mass spectrum of ηN, and angular distribution of η are given numerically at T_p=2.8GeV. The implications of our results to experiments at CSR in Lanzhou are discussed.
