Abstract：
The interplay between the pairing and surface vibrations is investigated within the framework of the generator coordinate method which treats both modes of collective motions on the same footing, By extending subspace we esimate the coupling effect on the pairing vibrational state (1,1) in ²⁰⁸Pb arising from its octupde surface vibration.
