Abstract: This paper presents the characteristics, structure and parameters of the permanent magnet quadrupole lenses which have been used as a beam transport element in our linac. The methods of connection and adjustment are discussed. After transporting 15MeV electron beams by 43cm, a improvement of 50%—80% of the primary beam profile was obtained.
