THE USE OF HIGH-ENERGY ELECTRON BEAMS IN A MAGNETIC FIELD FOR RADIATION THERAPY

Abstract: A rough estimation shows that the physical dose distribution by electron beams of about 50 MeV could be analogous to that by π--mesons, if an adequate magnetic field is applied to the radiated region. Therefore it would be helpful to the therapy of the deeply situated tumors.
